Under New Ownership

We are excited to announce we have purchased the Skeena River Fishing Lodge as of October 1, 2014.

Under the name of Skeena Spey, we will continue to operate as a fishing lodge, but will be focusing our energy on catch and release spey angling.

The smokehouse will remain open for business.

The owner, Malcolm Wood has partnered with Brian Niska of Whistler Flyfishing to put together a team of passionate anglers that will be carrying on the tradition of fishing here on the Skeena River.

Please check out our website at skeenaspey.com and keep up to date with the changes happening here on the property.

We will be renovating the cabins to provide our clients with a comfortable and luxurious experience while they fish the pristine home waters in our very own back yard!

Our clients will have access to top quality equipment, including a brand new Kingfisher Shallow Water Extreme river boat as well as Redington wading gear, Pieroway Rod Company fly rods and Hatch Outdoors and Einarsson Fly Fishing Reels.

Come visit us in Spring 2015 for a guided fly fishing experience on the Skeena River you will never forget!

The Skeena River, situated in northwest British Columbia, Canada is a river of record salmon. Every year anglers from around the world have a good chance to hook record size salmon.

Twenty four years ago directly on the banks of this magnificent river, we built the Skeena River Fishing Lodge. It is a dream of many anglers to come to Canada and fish some of the best waters in the world, and we have helped, for many years, to make this dream a reality.

We fish some of the best spots along the Skeena River, and with our custom built jet boats, we will get you there fast and safe.

Salmon fishing in British Columbia is a specialty; we will share our expert advice and knowledge with you when it comes to fishing the Skeena and Kitimat rivers.
